How to Convert Images to PDF

What This Tool Does

The Image to PDF Converter turns images (PNG, JPG, WebP) into a PDF document, entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Each image becomes one page. You can size pages to fit each image exactly, or standardize on A4 or US Letter with configurable margins.

Common Use Cases

  • Receipts and invoices: snap photos of paper receipts, convert to a single PDF for expense reporting.
  • Scanned documents: images from a phone scanner app become a shareable, printable PDF.
  • Portfolios and galleries: compile artwork or product photos into a single document for clients.
  • Assignments and forms: submit photographed paperwork as a standard PDF instead of loose images.

Page Size Options

Fit image creates one PDF page per image, sized exactly to the image dimensions. This preserves full resolution and avoids any letterboxing — ideal for receipts and screenshots where every pixel matters.

A4 / Letter places each image on a standard paper-sized page with your chosen margin. Images are scaled to fit within the printable area while preserving aspect ratio. Choose this when the PDF will be printed, since standard sizes print without scaling surprises.

How to Use

  1. Drop your images (PNG, JPG, or WebP) — multiple files are processed in order.
  2. Choose page size: fit-image, A4, or Letter.
  3. Adjust margin (applies to A4/Letter modes; 0 for edge-to-edge).
  4. Click Convert, preview, then download your PDF.

Privacy

Your images are embedded into the PDF locally using pdf-lib in a Web Worker. Images are never uploaded — the PDF is assembled in your browser and downloaded directly. Safe for receipts, IDs, medical documents, and any sensitive imagery.

❓ Häufige Fragen

Can I combine multiple images into one PDF?

Yes. Drop multiple image files and each becomes one page in the output PDF, in the order the browser presents them.

Which page size should I choose?

Fit-image preserves full image resolution with no borders. A4 or Letter is better when the PDF will be printed on physical paper.

Is there a resolution or quality loss?

PNG and JPEG images are embedded without re-encoding, so quality is identical to the source. WebP images are re-encoded via canvas before embedding.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is assembled in your browser with pdf-lib. Your images never leave your device.
